Teeing Off for Another Successful Golf Day
Our teams enjoyed another incredible year out on the green for our Chambers Annual Golf Day earlier this month.
Not only was the Golf Day a fantastic opportunity for our players to grow their networks in a fun way it was also a great way to celebrate Men’s Health Week and highlight the importance of balancing work with play. Our players felt the health benefits of keeping active and enjoyed being out of the office whilst also nurturing important business relationships.
There's a lot that goes into making a day like this so special and there are many people to thank!

Secondly, thank you to our players who braved precarious weather conditions to enjoy a great day of friendly competition and comradery. Celebrating Student Achievements in the County
On Friday 14th June, our LSIP Executive Director Andy Sparks presented awards at the annual Writtle College Celebration event. Andy has been a Governor at the College since 2023 and was proud to participate in the celebrations in his official role honouring the students’ successes.
The College Celebration Event was a fantastic time to celebrate the end of the academic year for the FE Learners, sharing their proud moments with the class mates, families, and faculty at the college.
Our Client Relationship Manager, Kim Paxman, had the honour of attending the Harlow College Student Celebration Awards this month. It was a privilege for Essex Chambers of Commerce to sponsor and present some of the awards to the students, including;

Huge congratulations to all the students involved, the night was a perfect way to recognise their hard work and tenacity. It was wonderful to celebrate their achievements with them.
International Trade Department Celebrations
We were delighted to be recently featured on the Just Trade Newsletter in their Powering Global Growth: Essex Chamber’s International Trade Team Leads the Way! article. The piece is an overview of all the services our International Trade team provides for Members and the wider community, highlighting our commitment and dedication to supporting organisations with their global commerce needs.
Huge congratulations to Melanie Chaney, part of our International Trade Documentation Admin team, for recently celebrating her first year at the Chambers. Initially starting out supporting our Membership team, Mel’s eye for detail and eagerness to learn saw her dipping her toe into the complex waters of International Trade. In no time at all she completed her examinations becoming a qualified documentation stamper and is always on hand to happily assist you with your trade needs. Here’s too many more years Mel!
