We are pleased to announce our continued collaboration with Notting Hill Carnival and Carnival Village Trust for the 12th consecutive year. It is a significant milestone and a privilege to be part of this event annually, with each year presenting new challenges and opportunities for growth.
Notting Hill Carnival is renowned as Europe's largest street festival, drawing over 1.5 million attendees over a span of three days. The festival features processions, competitions, and stage performances, with around 50,000 participants, over 140 performance vehicles, and 30 static sound systems.
McKenzie Arnold Group plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all visitors during the event, requiring extensive planning, resource management, and team coordination. Preparations involve strategic meetings with various stakeholders, including local authorities, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services to ensure a comprehensive security plan is in place.
On the days of the main event, MAG deploys a team of 1200 security officers and stewards on the Sunday and 1400 security officers and stewards on the Monday, to oversee the smooth operation of the carnival and address any security concerns that may arise. The dynamic nature of the event necessitates a flexible and adaptive approach to security measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and attendees.
