Festive Networking Returns to Tiptree Tearooms

After a year’s break, we were delighted to once again host an evening of festive networking at Tiptree Tearoom with our Patrons, Wilkin & Sons Ltd. The absence of the event in 2024 was certainly felt, and the enthusiasm from Members made its return in 2025 the perfect way to open the festive season for both attendees and staff.

This year’s festivities were made even more special as the event was held in the enchanting Secret Garden. Attendees were able to enjoy the cosy setting that was adorned with twinkling lights, fireplaces, and festive bunting, all centred around a beautiful real Christmas tree.

We are proud to work with and support an iconic and prestigious brand like Wilkin & Sons Ltd. They’ve been members of the Essex Chambers since 1999 and Patrons for over a decade. This year they’re celebrating 140 years of making their world famous and delicious jams and preserves. It was fascinating to hear from the company’s Chairman, Walter Scott, who captivated attendees with the brand’s history, heritage, and milestone achievements.

Connections and conversations were plentiful as attendees enjoyed tasting a bountiful spread of the delectable Tiptree treats. The networking continued into the tearoom museum and shop, where everyone had a chance to pick up discounted goodies ready for Christmas.
