The Fundraising Impact of our Boxing Night
We’re proud to share the incredible impact achieved at the 2025 Synonymous Sport Evening of Boxing at Braxted Park, where, with the generosity of our guests and matched by the further fundraising by Tec Supplies, we raised a total of £18,557.61 - £9,032.61 of which was donated on the night.
The money was raised in aid of Lennox Children's Cancer Fund. The update below highlights exactly how this fundraising has made a meaningful difference:
- £5,342.61 was used to send five families each on a four day respite break with spending money to make precious memories.
- £690 went towards garden maintenance at Appletree Cottage to ensure a safe space for children to play whilst on their respite break.
- £1000 was used to fund four community groups in Colchester. Each group sees around 15 families attending.
- £2000 was used to erect scaffolding and paint the exterior of the respite home Appletree Cottage.
These amounts represent more than just numbers - they are the real stories behind every ticket bought, table booked and event supported - and we're incredibly proud of what the Synonymous Sport community has achieved together.
