Teledyne has been announced as a headline sponsor for Buzz in the City, Chelmsford’s new sculpture art trail.
This summer, a swarm of large, colourful bee sculptures will be landing outside places of interest in Chelmsford to form the trail which locals and visitors can follow through the city’s streets and parks.
This new, high-profile, family-friendly art event is expected to attract thousands of people to Chelmsford and is organised by Farleigh Hospice to raise money for local hospice care. The charity is working with Chelmsford For You – the City’s Business Improvement District – with the support of Chelmsford City Council.
Fundraisers at Farleigh have been looking for sponsors for the event. They are delighted that Teledyne, which is based in Waterhouse Lane in Chelmsford, has now been confirmed as a headline sponsor.
A spokesperson for the organisation said, “Teledyne are proud to be a headline sponsor for the Buzz in the City event supporting Farleigh Hospice.
“Supporting this event is a fantastic opportunity to give back to our community and support vital services like those provided by Farleigh Hospice. This sponsorship not only allows us to contribute to a great cause but also provides a platform to connect with local businesses and residents, enhancing our community involvement.”
There are still opportunities for businesses to be part of the art trail by sponsoring a bee sculpture. Your name, logo and details will be displayed on its plinth and included on the Buzz in the City app where you can also connect with the people taking part in the trail by offering rewards, gifts or a prize draw. People following the trail and passers-by will see that you are proudly supporting this exciting art event and your local hospice charity.
