Old Park Meadow's Annual Bulb Planting Blooms with Community Spirit

Over the last couple of months, Old Park Meadow hosted their annual bulb planting event where families were invited to help plant bulbs that were supplied by Old Park Meadow around the grounds.

Delyse Jackaman, manager of Old Park Meadow had this to say about this year’s event. “We are grateful to all the families who came out and helped plant the bulbs. Between the team here, the families and our volunteer gardening club we managed to plant thousands of bulbs. We can’t wait to see them all flower in the spring. Why not visit the grounds over the spring and summer and have a walk in nature”.

Don’t forget Old Park Meadow host a variety of events and activities to help you connect with others:

  • Coffee Mornings & Gardening Club: Every Wednesday, join us for coffee, cake, and conversation (10am-12pm) or for a spot of gardening with our other volunteers (9am-12pm). Everyone is welcome!
  • Bereavement CafĂ©: Held with St Clare Hospice on the third Wednesday of each month (10am-11:30am) in the lodge, this is a space to share your experience with others who understand.
  • Classes & Activities: Our lodge hosts a variety of classes, from yoga to Tai Chi. Follow us on social media (Old Park Meadow Natural Burial Ground) for updates!
