Harwich Haven Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Busayo Afolabi as its new Senior Marine Operations Manager.
Busayo will be stepping into this newly created role to manage the Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) team, develop commercial opportunities for marine services, manage marine assets such as pontoons, and to lead on the organisational training for the marine department.
Busayo is a certified Master Mariner, an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute, and an active member of the UK Harbour Masters Association. He holds an MBA in International Maritime Management from Southampton Solent University and brings over fifteen years of broad, hands-on experience across multiple maritime sectors. His expertise spans QHSSE standards, complex marine operations, and strategic team leadership.
